The concept for Turner Hall Childcare Center is to create a beautiful and multifunctional environment using colorful, airy,
and functional solutions that provide greater independence and life quality to those who use it. Vibrant blue and green tones and light natural woods divide the space based on shared and intended purposes and encourage creative learning and play. Fun and thoughtfully selected acoustical materials help balance noise
levels throughout and in designated quiet areas. An upgraded kitchen and in-house herb garden provide proper nourishment
and nutritional learning opportunities for the youth of Illinois
State University.
