I'm a lover of artistic self-expression. Getting lost in a good book (or reality TV show) is good for the soul. My least favorite adult activity is laundry. The key to self-fulfillment is knowledge—through life experiences, intimidating opportunities, change, elders, books, and education.
No matter what, there is always something to learn.

And now for my greatest accomplishment—my family.
These are my people. They challenge me, support me,

make me laugh, and sometimes make me want to pull

my hair out (wink). Kynlie came into my life when I

needed her most. She is now a 7-year-old spitfire who

will surely change the world one day. In our spare time,

we enjoy visiting with friends and family, home

renovation projects, furniture refinishing, boating,

swimming, traveling, cooking, and movie nights.

For over 15 years, I spent my professional life as a graphic designer. While I enjoyed improving experiences through signage and graphics, I wanted to dig a little deeper. That’s what led me to graduate school and Illinois State University’s CIDA-accredited interior design program. Graduating in December 2024, it is with this newly-gained knowledge of the built environment and human-centered design that I feel I can truly make a difference in the lives of others.

Along with my expert skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I have gained extensive interior design knowledge, from sketching and hand drafting to 3D design and research. I am incredibly detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic. Reliability and quality run in my bones. I am always looking for ways to learn and grow as a human and professional. When I choose to do something, I give it my all.
